The name Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow is derived from the Sylvin language, as Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow was founded by Cherys, who was culturaly Wood Elf.

Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1374, by Cherys. The establishment of Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow's exceptionaly well made fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Cultural Notes
Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow lost 292 people, 318 livestock, and 60 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 47, when members of Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow's militia enacted an operation to delay the operations of the enemy. The operation was complicated by the militia had access to far less resources than expected. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Smi̽öw Qüeud Hadfow's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
